You have that completely backwards. The existence of the right analog stick is what necessitates the claw grip in the first place. Why in the fuck would you claw grip a 3DS when your thumb can reach all the buttons just fine? Unless maybe you mean clawing with your left hand to access both the D-pad and left stick, but I can't think of any games where that's actually useful and that applies just as much to a dual stick controller as it does to the 3DS.
