In Crypt of the Necrodancer the tutorial covers how to kill shopkeepers. They are the strongest non-boss enemy in the game and it requires some thinking and tools to get rid of them. Then you can grab their merchandise, but a Shopkeeper Ghost might come back to haunt you in the next levels.
