Ni-No-Kuni 2 is coming to PC
Was the first one even fun? I'm aching for a good JRPG again, I think it's been over 10 years since I last played a good japanese rpg.
Also does anyone know if the first game will have a PC release or not? Or wont it be important?

Didn't know it was going to get a PC release, cool
There were a lot of complaints about the AI partners in the first one. I thought the game was really good though. The gameplay was fun, the story was interesting, music was great. I was pleasantly surprised to see the sequel is coming to PC

the first one had retarded ai and extreme hand holding. despite that i still enjoyed it because Mr Drippy was great, and i liked the artstyle. Collecting pokemon was also nice i guess

>Also does anyone know if the first game will have a PC release or not?
They teased as much at Gamescom, so it's likely coming.
Is the sequel completely standalone or do I need to know what happened in the first game to enjoy this?

>loved the first one
>dont care about the sequel at all
Anyone else feel this way? All the trailers ive seen and articles Ive read just make me feel meh about the game. I really hope it is good and that I will feel differently after its release when some reviews and opinions come out.

It was enjoyable. Ghibli tier characters, world building and comfiness.
>>387931096
Seems standalone. No traces of the first game's story.

Theres some mentions of things in the first game. They take place in the same universe, but to what extent hasnt been said.

I do mostly because I didnĀ“t exactly know what to expect from the first and was slightly disappointed by it when it came out so any hype for the second is pretty minimal right now

>that doujin where he get fucked and dominated by so many fat ugly men that he becomes a sissy cockloving princess instead
So many good faps were had

I'll take it.

only problem I saw in the first one was the shit tier variety for monsters, evos were just palette swaps, other than that it was your run of the mill rpg
oh and there's also the fact that you get the car very late when there's nothing else to do in the game, like, what the fuck devs
>>387931209
I haven't warmed up to the characters and the new battle system looks messy, but didn't have high expectations for the first game either and it turned out great. Gonna play it nonetheless since I'm not waiting on any other games.

Not this time fucker. I knoe you're lying.

>Was the first one even fun?
No, it was terrible. How it got a sequel will forever remain a mystery.
Do I need to play the first one?

oh thats adorable she put something in her panties to make it look like she has a small feminine penis
..right?
>>387930091
Have you played Trails in the Sky yet?
>no
Ding! Dong! Get it and play it.
>yes
Have you played its sequel yet?
Biggest problems the first one had were ridiculous over-explanation hand holding for anything and everything such as using magic spells to complete quests, and the friendly AI being completely retarded, making awful decisions and generally wasting magic as fast as fucking possible.
It was visually nice, music was good too. Biggest issues I had with it were the bad combat AI, shit variety in familiars, and every sidequest was a fetch quest more or less. Kind of sad though that the sequel seems to be dropping the familiars altogether instead of improving them.

I hope we get more sexualized familiars this time.
The first game has a strong start and then falls to shit once you start recruiting monsters and party members.

>Was the first one even fun?
It might have been, but i couldn't play it with the terrible translation.

>..right?

oi anon mun shut yer fookin gob afore a shut it fore ya aye?
The second half of the first one was really good, but the tutorial is no joke like 20 hours long. You were still getting hand held past when most games would just end. But once it opened up, it was really fun.

>t. Crybaby Bunting
The first one was simple fun. Getting the second one hoping they can tighten gameplay a bit. Slightly worried they're gonna convolute the story when the simple story was half the appeal for me originally. We need more RPGs that make the adventure more important than "Big plot twists!"

Thanks, I'll look into it.
