It's going to be east Asia in the 12/13th century with the rise of the Mongols as the driving narrative, Jin, Song, Hsi-Hsia, Tibet, Qara Khitai, Khwarezmia, all the different tribes in Siberia and Greater Mongolia, and whatever the fuck is in Indochina and India

Then the next historical after that will be Medieval 3 that gives a huge combined map from the Atlantic to Korea and allows an earlier start date
