>a virus infects a human or dog
>makes it undead
>the same virus infects a snake or spider
>makes it giant
How exactly does that work, and which effect was intentional?
>>387916096
It's explained that the T-Virus affects different species in a different way.
>>387916096
It's RNG. The effects are generally unpredictable for different species. Think of it like how every RE human villian (Remember that boat fucker from RE5?) who injects themselves thinking they'd turn out like Wesker always ends up some giant disgusting mess. It honestly makes sense when you think about it. A virus has different effects on different animals in general, so having the virus flip the fuck out when introduced into a hose of a completely different genetic makeup actually makes sense.
>>387916096
Humans and dogs are mammals. Snakes are reptiles and spiders are insects.

If a human was immune to becoming a zombie for some reason, would she become a giant?
>>387916989
>would she
Not a good question, could she is more apt. And yes, potentially anything can happen.
Wesker literally didn't become undead, or a giant or an abomination. He became a literal fucking Ubermensch with powers that are borderline like Neo's from the Matrix.
>>387916989
Why do you think most of the giant animals aren't zombified or hit with some weird effect that's similar to rabies. Maybe some of them are immune to the zombification but it's clear that it makes them hyper aggressive.
>>387916096
ai don't know about spiders but snakes like the reticulated python get fucking huge
>>387917470
forgot pic
Wesker theorizes that on a subconscious level, the being's mental state/hidden desires can influence what they become.
>>387917751
Yes, I am pretty sure almost brainless bugs have "hidden desires".
Shut the fuck up, Boco.
>>387916096
Aren't the spiders and snakes undead as well as giant?
>>387916815
>spiders are insects
See me after class.
>>387918130
Whoops, meant arthropod.
But that would be a bit incongruous next to mammal and reptile, so I guess I should have just went with arachnid.
Why do crows change almost nothing from being infected?
>>387918789
What's odd is that spiders only become gigantic, whereas other athropods tend to go full retard in their mutations.
>RE3 remake
>Grave Digger with high poly count model and HD textures
I need this.
>>387918086
Actually, think about it. What's the main thing driving most animals? The need to hunt, eat, and survive. And what makes that easier? Being bigger and stronger. A dominant alpha.
But really, the answer is "the virus does whatever the plot needs it to, so there".
