The dual wielding mechanic added a bit to relieve that,and most Wolfnestein games have fairly standard weapon choices. The most unique weapon in RtCW was the Tesla Gun, with others being pretty standard. Also, this seems more like a nitpick than game breaking flaw.

Enemy variety is a weak point, but "same" is nonsense. basic bitch Nazis are redundant, but at the time the game came out Nazis-as-antagonist had become in vogue at that point, and the retro-futurist aesthetic helps keep things more fresh than they otherwise would. I would have preferred to see some of the older enemies from Wolf games make a comeback, however.

You mean you didn't like it. It is very linear, which can be pretty off putting, but it was serviceable. I can't recall anything being outright displeasing to play through due to the level design.
