To be honest it's probably too late to get into any of them now if your interest is in multiplayer, people are just too good these days so unless you have someone to learn from it's a barrier that will be hard as fuck to get past.

The first two games, first of which is literally a DOS game, didn't age well to the point of being playable unless you're from the oldfag generation of /v/ that pretty much doesn't exist anymore haivng moved to /vr/ and Codex so try them only if you don't mind dated games.

To be clear, I'm not bashing rts on consoles, but I believe that it's better to have either pc or console as a main platform during development and then focus on the port rather than doing both at the same time. KuF Heroes is one of my favorite Rts and I would not play it with a Kb+M setup.
