I started coming to /v/ around autumn or winter 2010, and I remember this board being more fun and light-hearted back in the day, and people here didn't take everything seriously like they do these days.

I love these threads.

It's the same few replies every single time. It has been happening for years now. You don't hold the answers guys, nobody does; the are no answers. Truth is, this situation is unsolvable because, well, there is no issue to begin with. Your complaints? They were always here. There has never been a single instance in the history of this site that even one user said "hey, I like the sate of the site right now." It will never happen.
The site is fundamentally built by lazy, life-avoiding, cherry-picking, change-hating underachievers. This userbase will never mature. Nothing will change for something objectively better. Things can only go slightly worse every year, and by worse I mean slightly different in style.
It's the very fact that you people feel so confident that your answers hold some grand solution that makes you idiots. And this blind, prideful idiocy is the reason this place is to "broken" to begin with.
Plus, you care too much. This place will never love you back, no matter how much you choose to remember that one time many years ago that this place made you laugh or gave you a good time, back when you were too new and naive to realize that people hated the place back then too. Just let it go.
