It's still cheaper and more convenient, considering the amount of games you get with emulation vs. with the SNES Mini.

For emulation a WII + pro controller + the right cable + 480p CRT tv is better than any PC emulation, and let's just ignore Linux and Android emulators. I love emulation, but even the most advanced emulators will look different, the sound of dracula X is different.

Emulation is a better choice for people that isnt really invested, this consoles are for: Nostalgiafags, hipsters and retrogamers. I Still play on my Snes and SFC and this console is a way to do the same without stressing the real hardware.
