HOTS is, well, the easiest way to put it; the best MOBA. The MOBA genre, is shit, lets face it. It's the equivalent of slamming your head against a brick wall until it breaks. You can't play until you learn every single nuance the game has to offer.

HOTS, as exceedingly flawed as it is, at least can be a good experience for those who are educated about the game, and to those who are not. You cannot be efficient in DOTA 2 if you don't know shit about the game, that will turn you away and you will lose because you don't know anything. And you will constantly lose more because you're being paired up with people who are like you. AKA people who don't know the game.

I spent months playing DOTA in Warcraft 3 so when DOTA 2 came out I knew what I was doing, but the sheer amount of people who didn't know shit was astounding.
