Don't get it either. I thought the first part where you were just a source hunder dude was pretty fun actually. Then it changed to your regular CHOSEN ONE LMAO bullshit and I instantly lost interest. The environment is pretty standard, not too fun to explore. Combat is nice but that can carry me only so far when I have otherwise no interest in playing.

Can't wait until it is finally out. Man, lizard girls look so elegant and statuesque they make me feel funny. But I am still probably going to play Mr. skeletal or some origin character.
I am also very excited about their editor tools which are getting released. Considering no VA and semi open-world structure of the game, modders' additions can be easily incorporated and they won't clash with core content of the game too much.

I like that they gave elves a more creepy/inhuman look to them, rather than just humans with long ears. Also the SJW uproar about female elf armor on the Larian forums when the game came out was pretty funny. I'm glad Larian seemed to ignore that shit for the most part.

As much as I loved the first game I do agree that the writing was completely forgettable. The combat systems really carried it for me. What's present in the first act of the sequel seems a lot better so far, but since the majority of the game isn't currently playable I can't really say much more than that. Even if the writing falls flat again all the improvements they've made elsewhere will be satisfactory enough for me.

Enhanced, it's just a slightly improved version. The main difference that I can think of is that they added voice acting to every dialogue, including like six player character voices.
