There will continue to be low quality games. The bigger problem is the same problem we'v been having for 3 gens. Even low budget games try to push 3D instead of remaining 2D.

Vanillaware and indie devs are really the few who try to improve 2D gaming with advancements in graphics.

No because the 3DS is still alive and even when it does die I'm not buying a Shitch. Handhelds are supposed to be portable. That's the whole appeal. Switch is 1.5x larger than an XL which some people already had a problem with being too big. That's not portable. It doesn't even fit in your pocket. Choke on a dick, Nintendo.

I love it when devs have to do a lot with limited resources of the weaker consoles. It usually means the have to come up with some creative work arounds for different things and those are always interesting to me.

To this day, Vagrant Story might be the most visually interesting game I've played because of how creative the devs had to get to achieve those visuals.
