Nah, more like they sold their souls to activision. Crota's end was basically already finished, and yet that was DLC because in bungie's contract with activision they had to make DLC's for the game.

I know I'm in the minority on /v/, but I'm pretty fucking excited, honestly.
Every new bit I see from trailers hypes me a little more. I'm stoked that the PVE aspect will actually (hopefully) has decent story telling with so many cutscenes and I'm really looking forward to the revamped Patrol mode. I hope the new gear/weapons live up to what D1 had at its end. I'm also probably getting ahead of myself on this but it seems like Bungie is keeping a lot of stuff like the 3rd classes hidden so I'm anticipating some major reveals on release.
My roommates and I are taking the 6th as a paid holiday so we'll probably be playing all day.

You should prepare to be massively disappointed anon. There is no point in buying D2 for at least 2 years when they'll release the complete edition with all the DLC for $60. Signing up now is carte blanche to Bungo to rape your wallet all over again.
