It is one of the worst experiences I had in my life.
EVERYTHING is bloated to the brim with kids who just want to see some of these Youtube celebs that are just a copy of YT faggots from the U.S.
Terrible idea, the good games have lines with 5h waiting time.

this isnt even exaggerated. if you want to play any kind of triple A game at gamescom be ready to wait 3~5 hours, so in the end youll be able to play two games for 10 minutes if you stay all day long

If you want to actually play vidya, find out where the games are and run to them at the first day right when they open. You have about 3 hours until you have to wait 4+ hours to play anything. Anything before is literally free rounds without waiting, or 5 min max.

It looked just as bad a few years ago. I decided to never return after that. I went to one of the first ones back in Leipzig back in the mid-00´s and back then I could never imagine that things would turn out this way. It was completly different and a lot more chill.
