If you seriously think that's impressive for an open-world game then you need to realize 2006 ended over a decade ago. FFXV is a joke. Even more so when SE is too blind to see how ugly their game is. They are advertising this as Crysis come again when in truth it's just a severely downgraded PS4 game that is being retrofitted with some gimmick effects to justify the insane specs.

And no they are the same, which you would know if you had any knowledge on what downsampling is and how promotional shots are made.
The one thing that is different in that nvidia shot is the draw distance mostly visible on trees and the wall, which means nvidia did an engine override cranking up that draw distrance, which means we will be able to edit the games settings.ini which is nice.
It would also seem that nvidia disabled their gameworks godrays™ or their gpu ran out of memory after cranking the settings up and is not able to render that godray.
Jap shot also has anisotropic fitering at what looks to be x4 for whatever reason but then again it's japs and they are technologically illiterate when it comes to pcs.

You can see more shadow on the steam shot also you can clealry see it is a slightly differnet part of the sunset which is why part of the sunrays are hitting the trees in the steam shot and why the rock of ravatogh has a more yellow hue because of hte sunset hitting it instead of like the other one where it's more grey

And no, the time of day is exactly the same which you and anyone with eyes can confirm by looking at the reflections arounfd the pic being at the exact same position, had the sun been in a different position the reflecions and lighting around the shot would have bee in a slightly different position.
The shados are the same, the onle different thing about SHADING is nvidia likely injected their SSAO or possibly MXAO.
You shoud also vent a bit before replying to not look as retarded.

Go to youtube, set resolution to 720p, then set it to 4K. Does the 4K shot have better lightning, draw distance and skybox? Does the resolution bump have any impact of the actual game graphics besides maybe texture detail?
