Its on sale for 20$ How is the game until Monster Hunter

I was going to buy this last weekend because I thought it would be on sale, ended up being full price still.

It's not bad, it's a lot easier than Monster Hunter though. It's something that could possibly keep you occupied for a while. Download the free version, it lets you play the entire first chapter and lets you have a few hunts online each day (you get some 'energy' type freemium daily cap).

Nah they're just shitting you. It's a fairly decent attempt at a MH clone but for my tastes it was too focused on aerial combat. The A.I. companions you get to go through the mains story are pretty decent ad don't feel like dead weight. For $20 I think you'll get your money's worth. Besides Toukiden 2 has the best waifu of 2017, Benizuki.

I found it enjoyable. Dont expect to play it online since it has always been dead online for PC. I don't know about PS4. It feels like an easier God Eater. Story is okay at best. If you don't feel like playing an older Monster Hunter or God Eater go for it. I got about 30 hours out of it.

Depends on how deep you want to go into it. It has an Monster Hunter tier end game after the story is over with alot of new hunts and making old hunts harder with new drops you will need for better weapons/armor. I didn't really dive fully into that.

it's pretty good, fun characters, fun weapons, decent character customization, just try to use only 1 npc for help otherwise if you use 3 the games becomes too easy.
