It seems like it could be really fun but how hard they gear it towards and exclusively kid audience makes it really hard to enjoy.

ignore the vocal tards and enjoy the game, it's fun, difficulty increases in the main game up to proper monhun levels.

your demo save carries over to the main game so you can keep playing the main game from the end of the demo, so make sure you get azuros, aptonoth, kut-ku and BLUE kut-ku (gold caves for those)

Japan panned it as a 7/10. Most talk of the game in the west seems rather positive. Not largely so but nobody is really slamming it.

Pretty fun even if not perfect.

Just a few issues:
1)Navirou is annoying, even though he becomes more likeable through the game

2)With the variety of monsters, not enough terrain abilities IMHO and some do literally only the simple version of it. Roar, ____ Detect, Jump, Run, Dig, Rock Smash, Lava Walk, Invisibility and Swim. Plus i think Flying is confined to Ratha only.

3)Some baffling exclusions in the roster that don't let it reach that sweet 120 monster count. Monoblos and sub are once again wasting space, and Basarios and sub aren't needed if there's Gravios(even though it has the best looking super in the game). Chameleos isn't in the game for some reason(would've been perfect with Invisibility since the last update added two playable monsters that weren't playable before) but the most unexplainable exclusions are Daimyo Hermitaur(and sub) and motherfucking Agnaktor(and sub), WHO YOU FIGHT IN THE GAME. Not making Makiri Nowa playable as a reward for finishing the whole game is also stupid.
