Also does anyone know how to instal saves files from other players? I was thinking of maybe installing a save that's after the mike Tyson fight effectively bypassing it so I might move on to the next level.

Most of the game isn't difficult, it just throws random bullshit at you that you couldn't possibly expect so you die a lot. Once you know all of the tricks an area will do then it's a lot easier.

I had also found some speedrunners on youtube who ran this game not long ago at the event gdq. How they managed to memorize this game so thoroughly is uncanny. Truly something to behold. What does /v/ think of speedrunning in this game?

I completely agree. Even though I am biased toward this game I must admit it has many faults, the unpredictability included. Once you're experienced enough the game must be rather boring. I hope to be that good one day.

I remember installing this game including soldat on all the computers in my school. Would have lots of fun in EAST lab every day with buddies.

It's an ok joke game but nothing more. That entire style of platformers that sprung up in the mid 00's is kind of stupid, but there are some solid games that came out of it. Super Meat Boy, Dustforce and N+ are my favourites. Umihara Kawase is somewhat comparable too, and is amazing.
