Rhythm Heaven was inevitably going to end either way, haven't you guys read about Tsunku's throat cancer? Megamix was their way to finish their franchise by making a 'compilation'. It might not be as grand as you hoped it to be, but they had to come to terms with this, otherwise, the series would stagnate even further, with none of the magic the previous titles had.

As a WarioWare (heck, any Wario franchise) fan, I'd be more than thrilled, but who's to say that Wario as a whole doesn't get treated the very same way? More than anything, Nintendo seems to be bringing their focus on already big franchises, while noting the franchises that have very vocal fanbases (the Metroid fanbase is VERY vocal regarding their love).

Unfortunate to say, Wario's fanbase isn't as vocal or as big as I would have hoped to be or at least, no longer as big. Most of Wario's popularity seems to have been partially stolen by Ashley as a character.

It's nice they brought a nod to the WarioWare series in Rhythm Heavens' last game (if this indeed is true) and I do hope that the team doesn't lose its motivation while making more games, whether completely new ones or WarioWare ones. It depends on what Nintendo's got planned for them.

I think they were just letting the franchise sit after other M, waiting for a new console cycle and for fans to start craving a new game. I don't even get why people want the game to be localized. It's my all time favorite game ever since I played it but I never wanted it to come here.

They've pretty much appropriated the term just so they could kill it later. Trans people kept calling themselves traps because they couldn't stand how crossdressers were getting attention when crossdressers are comfortable in their own skin.
