I have and they have shit combat.

Doesn't mean first person combat is bad. I haven't played the newer mount and blades tho maybe they're better but chivalry is the CSGO of first person combat. Tons of people play it but its still garbage. It random bullet spread tier of gameplay.

Hell i've enjoyed melee combat more in fucking far cry primal and bethesda games.

I hate racing games in first person view but some people love that shit.
