I've never gotten every achievement in a game. I've gotten close but then there's multiplayer achievements, stupid grind achievements, or "play through the game multiple times to do every variation of this one thing" achievements

Those achievements are bullshit.

Thankfully a lot of the ridiculous trophies are in early ps3 and 360 games. I think platinum makes good lists like vanquish and MGR wherever they actually take skill to pull off and can be as long or as short as you want them to be.
