PUBG won't define shit because its not actually the originator of the wave its riding. The openmap battleroyale style of games have been around for the past two years, its just the first one to actually be mostly okay without being a buggy, unoptomised mess as well - and it won't catch on with kids or letsplayers the same way Minecraft managed either.
