Just finished it up too, can't be assed to do all the extra shit that's left over now that it's done and over with. Once you lost access to the open world, the story falls the fuck apart. I'm sure it's because of cut content to resell later.

Very dull game. Luckily for SE 2016 did not have too many good games so it won game of the year. But don't let that fool you. Whole fucking thing feels like the pre-alpha to what should have been a finished game.

There exists a Hermit on /v/ who will defend FFXV to his dying breath. His twitter Handle is Bazztek and real life name is Barry. He will defend pretty much everything about this game and class it as a work of genius. He even prefers the shitty, draggy, floaty combat over Nier Automata and thinks the animations are better in XV because "BLENDING".

You think I am kidding but he once shitposted for 17 hours straight. He will likely show up here if the thread gets enough time through attention.

It's pretty much the definition of an inherently bad game that became mediocre purely by throwing a sufficient amount of money at it.

Overall mediocre and feels and basicly is unfinsihed in almost every aspect. They clearly never made an open owrld game at this "scale" and had to take shortcuts at every corner.
At this point it's basicly an early acess playgorund or the dev to try out stuff with the engine.
If it wasn't a mainline FF game but just a random game i wouldn't even care this much.

This guy.
He basicly defends the game 24/7 and not in a normla way as in actualyl trying to discuss things, he just insuts others and says "no u" or "no it's already better than [insert game]"
He does it on multiple websites
He actually made me more aware of a lot of flaws over time.

The moment they said that the Insomnia invasion was cut from the game I started to lose faith in the game, but then pic related blue balls me harder than I could ever expect to.
