To be honest, open-world games usually aren't hat "open". It's more of a marketing ploy.

I think the problem is that people think games with the open-world label are open-world games when they're practically linear experiences on a big map.

People who dislike Zelda are probably people who think they like open-world games but have never actually played a "real" open-world game.

I can recall maybe three times, the rainy path to zora's domain, the yiga clan hideout, and the path to vah rudania with yunobo. Other than those short instances, the game is completely freeform in how you approach things

the not as big one had everything but the pvc statue, and was $100

I personally bought the $100 edition, and I feel it was worth it, as the extra $40 got me a really nice carrying case that I use all the time, a cool reversible cloth fantasy map to add to my wall of fantasy maps, and a heavy brass coin to add tk my collection of video game and challenge coins

Neither added anything to the GAME though, they were just fun and intended for the more diehard fans
