Heroes is a good runner up. Definitely top 3. Endless content and the team gameplay always has a fun synergy through the colorful worlds and music.

I didn't see a more general topic thread so I'll post this here. Has this happened to anyone else? Knuckles gets knocked off at the start to do his own act, but when I got back on the Tornado from the little train section, he had returned. I don't think this happened when I played through as Sonic, or as Sonic+Tails.

i didnt have a genesis as a kid but i played sonic 3 at my aunts friends house once and thought it was kinda fun, and there is still a genesis in my local hospital waiting room i used to play that as a kid on occasion but i tried to replay sonic 1 a few years ago and hated it

I think the only 2D Sonic games that I played the time attack modes for were taxman CD (required for unlockables) and Pocket Adventure (ranks).
