I played Abigail for a bit, I've been saying that the only reason people are calling Abigail fun is because he is currently overpowered, the character has many Armored moves, has great range and does tons of damage, so people that play him at an average level, can actually win, the moves and fighting style itself is very uninspired and don't get me started on how the character looks as well.

Every new Street Fighter series began with less characters than the previous entry. Alpha had less than Super Turbo, New Generation had less than Alpha 2. the best thing SFV did was give the opportunity for other games to shine against it's dimness. Shit netcode, CC system is underdeveloped boring trash, barebones boring repetitive gameplay with a deliberate effort to discourage whiff punishing and encouraging doing dumb shit because the risk/reward is stifled by high input delay and tiny hurtboxes/fast recovery. Fireball game is dogshit unless you play Guile, stun is high enough where you die in 2 mixups, top tiers can just use EX and Trigger to make free boring mixups with fucking no defensive mechanics except a whack burst which can be OS'd crazy easy.

Seeing more and more people branch out to Tekken/anime looking for something to have fun with that actually fulfills the reasons they like fighting games in the first place. Everyone and their dad wants to play DBFZ, I'm so excited and really hope I'm not let down.

We were all excited for the game and it fucking blew. The only people who still play it are pros who get paid to do it and mongoloids who can't stop getting hard over the fact that the skill cap is so low that getting decent at the game feels like it gives you a chance against anyone because there's nothing they're doing you can't with consistency, and are too shit/unmotivated to be relevant in a game that isn't neutered casual garbage.

Season 3 will do nothing to improve on the base fundamental issues with the game, and they will not build the game from the ground up.
