Not true. If you're good at aiming you don't have to rely on cover with a few exceptions. Even /v/ admits to this but the "horrible pacing" is what supposedly ruins the entire experience.

There have been plenty of MGS 4 vs MGS V (and any other game in the series, for that matter), and there's still a strong amount of people shitting on MGS 4 (and rightfully so)

Terrible game. MGS V is extremely flawed open world shit, but it's a masterpiece in comparison to 4.

the gameplay segments of MGS4 were pretty fucking great, I don't know much about max payne, but rockstar games usually are very clunky and have shitty mechanics
