Uh, yeah? Real life people aren't into Souls games. It's an internet thing.

And yeah, Souls games ARE mediocre as action games. Their combat is insanely basic and repetitive. They're liked for their lore, atmosphere, and the fact that they endow the player with "hardcore cred".

Generally it pretty highly praised around here of course any actual discussion about the game gets drowned out by Never ever/Gold face/20fpsborne shitposting by sonyggets and PC only faggots. I hate it so much that this game cant be dicussed in civility.

I know it appeals to the lowest common denominator but sometimes it has surprisingly decent level desing, almost on par with DaS1. I think the reason this game is hated its because its seen as a Souls, when its clearly a game of its own
