/v/ is conveniently blind to the issues Superstar Saga and Bowser's Inside Story have while being quick to judge Partners in Time, Dream Team, and Paper Jam.
They're good games, but not flawless masterpieces.

Oh fuck no, BIS has the worst mini-games, at least these aren't stylus controlled or force you to use the mic. That being said these games would be so much better if they didn't have mini-games in the first place (not to sound like I dislike any of the games, I adore them overall I just really hate this aspect of them).

This. It's especially ironic how loved BIS is compared to DT when they share the exact same flaws (and the things in which DT is unquestionably better like the combat, the difficulty and actually having an overworld are conveniently never brought up).

Not at all, that's a decent minigame and it's optional after the first time. The shit in Bowser's body that passes for minigames and which you have to redo up to four times is basic and boring.

Eh, I still didn't like it then, sure it was better but I would rather they just make interesting ways to transverse the land or have puzzles in the areas with the abilities you learn, PiT did this for the most part & found it to be the most enjoyable due to it but I'm contrarian sadly on preferring PiT unlike most.
