Does elder scrolls online ever get good? I don't understand the point of it. It seems like everyone just runs around and does their own thing do people actually play together, form teams/guilds or whatever? I've only played for a couple of hours am I just still too new?
Halp!
It's pretty much a multiplayer Skyrim. I just play it like a single player game. If you've only played it for a few hours, I'd just play more. Typically people don't want to invite super noobs to a guild, especially ones like you that lose interest in the game quickly. I'd wait until you hit level 15 at least before guild hunting.

Not him but, I honestly thought ESO was gonna be an MMO with standard MMO-like graphics a la WoW just with Elder Scrolls texture. I didn't realize it was an actual Elder Scrolls game just with online. I kinda wanna try it.

Thanks, this is helpful advice, I'm only level four. I'll keep going for now any other advice from anybody would be appreciated.

That makes a lot of sense. do you think it's worth it? I mean, I'm trying this and Final Fantasy. It's been awhile since I played an MMO.

I do. From an excellent soundtrack to gameplay that really does closely resemble a traditional ES game, I was impressed. You're free to go where you please, pick a direction and just go. Join the Dark Brotherhood, Fighters Guild, the works.

If you have any questions, just let me know. Or visit the /vg/ ESO thread.

Interesting, I'll take you up on that offer. I'm building a PC anyways, so I wanted a suggestion.

It was shit before one tamriel and it is shit after it.
You can't salvage the mess that is hero engine no matter how hard you try, and zenimax didn't try very hard at all. Even fucking swtor has better combat animations than teso and has better armor models on top of it.

I would suggest you buy the Gold Edition of the game, has most DLCs included with it. I would also buy it from a key site, since the game is a lot cheaper that way. (And Zenimax's own website mentions using keysites is fine by them.)
ESO released a mess, to be sure, from marketing to game design. It's a shame the game is still typically looked at unfavorably, due to the nature of its poor release. It improved so much overtime.

>Tfw started this game monday
>Tfw it's actually fun
wtf
>>387516113
It's pretty great for $10. You do eventually do stuff with other people.

ESO doesn't use Hero Engine.

Dungeons are probably the easiest way to meet people, queue for Fungal Grotto or whatever it's called. Keep running that until you find some people who want to talk.
