Complicated game and objectively the best ARPG in modern times, but your endgame will consist of powering up 1-2 abilities to do all your damage. Bosses are hard and require quick responsiveness flask wise. Play softcore before trying hardcore and don't try to make your own build when you start off, you'll fail.

You'll never have all the cool items unless you sit in your hideout and exchange money for a fee like an autistic russian for 18/h a day for 2 weeks straight.
The market is completely fucked and run by a few people/guilds that manipulate it, fucking everyone else over to get said cool items.
The game runs horribly on even new hardware with constant crashes in DX11.
People will tell you there's infinite builds but unless you're a genius you'll be running the same shit everyone else is just like in D3 every patch.
GGG is a greedy company that milks whales with more sense than money for subpar UGLY as sin cosmetics. They also nerf anything fun they find out about to "balance" what is essentially a single player game. A good example of this is them LOWERING mob density in 3.0 like what the fuck.
That being said it's the best ARPG there is have fun if that's your thing.

The campaign is ok. Mapping, the endgame is boring and pointless. D3 actually have better systems there.

Be sure to follow an up to date guide. Bosses in this game are sometimes unreasonably hard, even when you have tons of life. Try to get resistances up to 75% at all times. If you trade use POE trade and be careful. Inspect the item you buy before clicking.
