DP were shit, barely a visual leap forward.the only meaningful mechanic change was the physical/special split. Region was forgettable, music was bland and started the trend of overly complicated and busy music in the series, had legendaries out the fucking ass, and ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING about DP was slower than continental drift. Menus, loading screens, even the time it takes for the fucking 'A' prompt to pop up during dialogue is fucking slow.

Because they made a Ruby & Sapphire remake, not a Emerald remake.

ORAS still has plenty of advancements and features that are improvements over RS and even E. Depending on what you value, ORAS could be a much better experience than Emerald. Emerald's better for single player battling, ORAS is better for multiplayer.

Delta Episode is flying to wherever your told, doing one battle, and leaving to the next place you've been told to go to repeat it. The only opportunity the Delta Episode had for real content was if the tower was a proper dungeon, but it's simple and linear and totally destroyed by having to listen to Zinnia tell me some stupid horseshit every floor.

Soaring is what flying always should have been though. Dex Nav is tedious if you want to get the good shit out of it.
