Needless to say, it took me a couple of hours until I basically gave up and used my CFW'd PS3's real time memory editing feature (basically like Cheat Engine) to give myself infinite MP, went into Master form and just spammed Thundaga to reach 99 hits.

Here's my strategy that worked for me (but after like 2 tries tho). Also I got this idea from someone else in this comment section but I sort of tweaked their strategy a little bit.

- First put Ether as one of your shortcuts so you should have 8 ethers
- Second have thunder as one of your shortcuts
- For weapons and abilities:
Use Rumbling Rose (for Combo Plus) and equip all of your Combo Pluses abilities as well as Finishing Plus abilities. (This ensures that the mushroom goes as high as possible so you have time to use an ether.) You should be able to land a combo of maybe 6 or more.
- Before you start, summon Stitch since he will replenish your magic bar at RANDOM.
- Then once you pull him out, just spam your thunder/thundaga. Once your magic bar is CLOSE TO being depleted, use your ether, unless Stitch is fast enough. This worked for me after two tries, I think.

I tried the strategy with the Berserk Charge with and without Master Form and to be honest, it's mostly luck. This strategy worked best for me and I got to 99.

It's been a while since I played 2.5, so I don't know if it was isolated to Data Xemnas or if it appeared on both. It might have had something to do with the Bluray, since Drive forms were pretty instant in 2FM on PS2 and can take upwards of five seconds on PS3.

Honestly to me it seems like most if not all issues are related to simply loading times being ass and 60 FPS change.
PS3 was 30 FPS so the framerate mechanics weren't fucked up there.
I actually used real time memory editing to make the game 60 FPS on PS3 and it did work and didn't even use PS3 resources in full despite being 1080p (meaning it's a well optimized port), but it did start to have some physics related issues in cutscenes and flickering stuff such as the Moogle Shop model flickering at twice speed.
It was very much playable though, just not perfect.
I assume PS4 exhibited all those same problems from 60 FPS switch since they were lazy and didn't do shit about the game to adapt it for that and only started fixing shit in post-release patches.

Crashing issues are almost 100% fixed now, Xigbar crash still sucks but Experiment is almost impossible to trigger and save crashing is gone, no idea on what still crashes in KH1 though, it's not so much random crashing as it is just specific circumstances now.

They are literally pre-rendered in 720p, so you also have 720p-tier jaggies especially since those retards prerendered them with no antialiasing.
