The music was quite good, the fighting was fun and kiiiiinda balanced (the shark and the bat were both hella broke if the AI was over difficulty 5 or so), but it was kinda short and it was too easy to cheese certain characters' ranged moves (Donatello, War, the robot).

I didn't like the visuals as much as TMNT2, but it had more attack/character variety.

That was only on the SNES version. The hardest part of that game on Hard was that Shredder fight, because you had to stun the foot soldiers that would parry your attacks, in order to through them. Usually with a shoulder tackle.
