Lifeweb is like ss13 plus dwarf fortress.

Eevery job has skills, like and RPG. So guards are strong and good sword fighter, acrobats can jump far and climb faster, cooks make better food etc.

Also combat is much better, mainly because guns are rare. But it's also more complex the ss13's combat.

You pretty much listed why no-one plays it. There's only one 30slot server hosted in Russia and it's only up on the weekend, so almost no-one gets to play the game.

I played it a couple times but I think the website went down or something and I haven't been able to find it since. Pretty fun, though.

Played it back when it was first translated to english.
Fun, but only being able to play it during weekends, and having to compete for a handful of player slots on a single server killed it for me.

There's like 2 regular servers now, with a regular 50+ population on weekends, and one beginner server that's never up
