On the one hand, I still enjoy turn-based battles, but on the other hand, aren't they kind of outdated? I wonder if the game's combat could be changed to a different style to make use of the better hardware a remake would be on. Or, would that upset too many people?

I didn't say that games age, though. If I think a game mechanic is "outdated", that doesn't mean that I think all games that had it aren't worth playing or "aged poorly", or aged at all for that matter. I still like turn-based battles, I just think that with improvements in hardware capabilities, there could be other solutions to controlling a party of four in a somewhat more involved way. I thought it would be interesting to discuss. Maybe I was right about the idea upsetting too many people.

Show what Saturos and Menardi did during the events of Golden Sun 1, make the characters a bit more sympathetic, and then when the final fight begins on the Venus Lighthouse, Felix helps out Saturos and Menardi, which results in a new ending where Isaac and his friends lost that fight.
