This was pretty common, at least in RO.

I played the euRO official server from 2004 to 2008 and there definitely was a category of girls that I dubbed as "ro whores"

They were usually average or shitty players who somehow managed to be into top guilds and their e-love would always be playing a class that complemented theirs well.

If they played a priest, their new "love of their life" would be some +8 geared wizard. If they played a damage class (usually a wizard or a hunter) their boyfriend would be a priest with insane gear.

They would whore their way in top guilds causing havoc and mayhem in order to get what they wanted.

One time, we were going to abbey, everyone was warping, the ro-whore in point was playing a gipsy. She died and then bitched that no one came to ress her whilst we were already all at the spot. She started to say it's ok guys, i am gonna log off anyways then went on to the guild forums to write a sob story about how we dared not to ress her.

The leadership wasn't retarded and gkicked her, but that made in turn quit 3-4 of her zealots. This is just one of many examples and things like those seemed common occurence in RO. Happened way less in wow.

Never understood why all servers do this. What's the point in having those high rates for exp and job exp but lower equip/cards drop.

Leveling in RO once you have gear is fairly quick even at 1x. What's the point in being a level 90 trans char if all the gear you have is NPC bought stuff because you're playing in a server with no people and low drop drates.
