The graphics are terrible; they completely ruined the vibe of the original game and the imperfections are no longer hidden by the fuzz, everything looks like cartoonish clay and none of the units/buildings mesh with the environment. The unit portraits got it the worst -- Zerglings and SCV look fucking atrocious now. On top of that, it has more bugs than the original game, and you have to actually pay for it. The pathfinding is too much. I just can't bring myself to play an rts in the [current year] where things just go in unpredictable directions on their own. Every time there is a ramp nearby the game makes me want to end myself. Sc2 is actually a pretty good game, i'm going back to it.

Because I am absolutely awful at it. I mean, alright, I get the basics, keep building workers, wall off your base, make expand and defense it etc. It's trying to actually execute it where it all falls apart, I just don't have the reaction skills neccessary to manage moving three separate control groups to a certain location while trying to handle their pathfinding and also simultaneously make sure my Command Center keeps churning out SCVs, that I'm building additional supply depots and making even more troops that I'll have to also move etc.

I'm sure pro players can appreciate the strategic elements that come into play in top level games, but for me I think I'll just stick to turn-based strategy where I have time to think.
