The frame pictures on the screen last half as long so you have half as long to look at and register them. Thats why cobsole babbies get 30fps, to make the game easier. 60fps promotes a faster brain and improved reflexes

That's a frequent thing I experience with certain games, I think it's just the camera. Some games just seem to have a camera that makes it feel like my eyes are unfocused. Others never have this problem. Fallout 4 definitely did it, I'd miss shit all the time walking around.

I've never really had that problem OP, when I made the jump to PC gaming I bought the best hardware I could. After like 5 years when that stopped being relevant I did it again. This was back in like 2008 and before that I just played on consoles. The difference between playing New Vegas or Oblivion on PS3 compared to playing it on PC is astonishing. Fallout 4's issue (the game I assume you're talking about) is that even on the highest settings, it looks terrible. I think it's just the art style more than anything else. Go play the Titanfall 2 single player at 144hz, which was the first thing I did after getting my new GPU, it looked and felt fantastic compared to my brief time spent on the PS4 version. The field of view played a large part in that, seen as I could see more.

Try picking up a game with a cleaner art style, preferable one with a setting where everything isn't a fucking mess.

Most "current gen" games use FXAA instead of MSAA now. It's much less demanding to render but it slightly blurs the entire image.

All the eye candy lighting, shadows, and post-processing also makes it more difficult to process what's happening on-screen. Same goes for more detailed environments.

It's why people often play competitive online games at low settings, the less shit there is on screen the easier it is to see what's going on.

It's probably just your low IQ brain that can't handle more than 3 colours and 2 shapes on screen at the same time.
