I've actually noticed this to and no other game has done this. It's like Sonic Mania is taking resource priority over the Switch GUI, which it should, but so much in fact that it causes input lag with the OS while running Sonic Mania only.

It's probably just the coding of the game causing response issues and will be fixed in a few days. I've noticed a glitch or two with the manics in the game anyway not properly running the right script when needed.

I seriously thought about getting a Switch or PS4 but I've lost interest in both. I'll get another Gameboy Color, an old link cable and maybe a Wavebird or two. Shit, there is so much cool older shit I can buy for the same price as boring new consoles and software.
