Nero is flamboyant but in a more immature way than Dante which is fucking great,him caring about Kyrie makes him more human. Agreed. 1 feels more focused and deliberate with everything it does, and just feels like an overall better game. 3 is a bit faster but lacks a bit in enemy design, boss fights, and level design. 4 was decent until you fight Dante, that was a lame fight. 2 was just a slap to Kamiya's face.

Yeah Tameem was really out of touch as a 40 year old doing what he thought a cool 20 year old would be and on some kind of self-insertion kick which ruined it. Let me try to remember. DMC1 Dante has the Force Edge, which powers up to the Sparda sword. In 3, he now uses the Rebellion as his default weapon. Mashed through whatever highest default difficulty available in each game as a kid. I played through DMC3 a few extra times and did most of the optional difficulties.

Went back to DMC4SE, and was bored to tears on LDK. The games are neat but the combat is pretty overrated due to boring-ass enemies/environments/bosses.

LDK was the highest default difficulty on the DMC4SE I purchased recently.
The games aren't really worth a second playthrough to play additional difficulties due to boring bosses/enemies/environments/no offense-defense duality/etc.
Also, I didn't really gloat about DMC3, I just said I played through it a few extra times, and it was the SE actually.

Everyone thought it would be this E3 with a Q1 release, but that turned out to be MHW. Capcom releases two big titles per year, this year it's RE7 and MvC:I.
