Mutant League and the sports games from Midway are much different than the boring as fuck sport team dating sims of EA.

I'm still waiting for a sports game with simple but fun arcade game play but with a jersey/clothing editor like animal crossing so you can side step paying the NBA or NFL licensing fees and just have the development focus on game play.

Arcade sports are just more fun like NBA Jam 2 on 2. It's why I'd rather play th Soccer mini game in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic games than pick up the yearly Fifa.
