I'm also one of those weirdos that liked Lost World.

There's also fun to be had in Battle, Heroes, Shadow, Riders, Rivals, Secret Rings, Unleashed, Black Knight and 4:Episode 2
Although they're not great games and probably wouldn't appeal to a non fan.

It's a pretty funny glitch, it let people boundary break like mad and sequence break large portions of the game.

Because merch sells better than the games ever did, at better margins too. It costs ~$0.50 USD to make a sonic plush, that they then officially brand, and sell for $4.99 to stores.

Sonic Boom is still incredibly busted even without it. The world record times for unpatched and patched Sonic Boom are only like 5 minutes apart, although to be fair no one has ran that game seriously basically since the update came out. People found some glitches, got some quick times, and dropped the game.
