Marble Zone is easy

I don't get it. What's supposed to be hard about Marble Zone?
You just need to slow down a bit. Later if you feel like replaying the game then you'll see that this level's a piece of cake.
The worst level in the other hand is Labyrinth Zone. Prepare yourself for the biggest suffering.

Marble is dogshit and always fucks my runs up. Labyrinth is easy. First act can be beat in 30 seconds. Marble Zone is awful, constantly forcing you to stand still and wait, then you have to deal with bullshit jumps like that one with the jutting spikes that knock you all the way back down to the beginning

I recently replayed Sonic 1 and 2. I was about to go completely insane until I remembered you don't have to destroy Robotnik in Labyrinth Zone.

Playing Casino Night was also super weird. I completely forgot it was AFTER Aquatic Ruin, maybe because I associated Casino Night with Spring Yard and Aquatic Ruin with Labyrinth Zone, so I expected them to be swapped.
Man, when I was young I got so fucking lost in that zone.

There is one are that screw you up. In one of the acts when the lava pushes some block up, if you miss the jump or you fall from those above platforms you can die because of a long ass area full of lava. Block only gets back if you can make it back
What happened to me once was getting to those above platforms and when i jumped a fucking caterkiller was at side and was stuck in there, i couldn't get to the other side. I had to kill myself for that caterkiller to generate in another place, similar to what happens in Sonic 2 with slicers

Still i don't like Marble zone, because of the many parts where you are forced to go the same path. Similar to what Sandopolis act2 does

I remember it took a while for my friend and I to get past Chemical Plant. I don't think he ever did (he was never all that good with any game that wasn't Tony Hawk). Once I did, I basically breezed through the game. I didn't have any trouble with 3 until I got to Carnival Night.

There's a giant shortcut in act 3. In a room with 2 spiked crushers where if you run on top of the one on the right there's a secret passage to the last part of the stage and an extra life. No video cause im lazy but you can look it up

Really thought I did my first legit playthrough of Sonic 1 the other day and it was overall a lot better than I expected.

Marble Zone is only frustrating because of a few parts that goes towards the end of each zone which will possibly take away most of your lives and a continue if you have any.

Sonic 1 is kusoge. If it were a NES game with bad graphics it would have been dismissed as just another random crap platformer. The only thing it has going for it is graphics, and they can't even do that without the background blocking your fucking view or looking like platforms.
