Everything good about 1 and 2 gets shit on in 3. They completely remove poise making items and stuff broken as fuck. Faster dex weapons are always better. You have basically unlimited stamina so roll spam and estas chugging is ridiculous. Also can stunlock tons of enemies in the game by just R1 spam it's so retarded. Also YOU get stunlocked to death by most of the enemies in the game even through full Havel armor because they fucking removed poise. Some enemies are just stupid broken like archdragon peak axe throwers who throw axes through walls. Not exaggerating, literally through walls. Not to mention PvP is totally fucked because, lack of poise. Trading hits is almost nonexistent so once again, R1 spam is the only valid tactic. And then not to mention 90% of invasions in 1 invader vs host + at least 1 phantom, who gets resummoned immediately if he dies. The lore is also shit.

I loved the series and really wanted to live this game too, but it's just awful.

nope, I went str twice, heavy weapons lock the fuck out of even heavier enemies, as well as having good reach makes it easy to destroy crowds

roll is very stamina cheap, true, fortunately that's far from ruining the game, estus chug is faster and more mobile than before because everything in the game is faster than the previous games

just roll out of it, dumbass and you can't stunlock the heavier enemies easily unless you're using a slow weapon yourself, and the smaller enemies are usually in packs
