There's no physical feedback and your thumbs cover the screen, making precise actions difficult and annoying to do. There's some RPGs and DS games but unless it's something like Phoenix Wright, something as simple as navigating a menu is still obnoxious to do. I'd rather go home and play my handheld games with actual handheld controls rather than give myself a headache emulating something on my phone.

Most phone games are better suited to being played on your breaks. Can't get shit done in most console / handheld games.

I just play FE:Heroes, which is F2P unless you're rich or autistic. I did buy some orbs since I've played since the start, figured I could give the developers some money to incentivize them to keep going. Only play a little a day, get rewards, maybe roll for someone, do the new hard maps or whatever. It's fun and most of the girls are cute

I spend about 100-150 a month on mobile games because you know I'm not a poorfag like OP

Honestly though, I wouldn't mind mobiles taking over the market completely, if the games, controls, and processing power were capable of delivering a satisfying experience, and if the App store was just full-on clean-slated - purged from million of shovelware and advertisement filled garbage.

While I agree the only real use for phones in gaming is emulation for a quality gaming experience, its not a good on-the-go experience as these are usually games designed around the idea of being played by little children or people with alot of time, not working adults.

Anything that makes you take long trekkes or questlines to complete something and requires being actively involved in it to progress is not suitable as a phone game as the number one action people do with a phone is turn it on and off every 10 seconds.
