I've hit level 21 in Dragon's Dogma and I don't get why people like this game so much.

>No one has any personality
>Every quest (I've done so far) is fetch quest
>Leveling is underwhelming
>Awful inventory managment
>Constant forced iventory managment since everything has weight
>Buying and comparing equipment at shops is clunky
The only thing that seems to be alright is the combat, but there's so much more to the game than that that I have a hard time getting into the game.
Could anyone explain to me why you like this game so much? I recall this game having /vg/ threads for a very long time.

It's clunky to get into because of the sterile world and inventory management, but you'll learn what's worth picking up and what isn't eventually. Just make your companions carry most of the load (but not healing items because they waste the fuck outta them).

I like this game but it was in dire need of mounts or some faster method of traversing the landscape. Crystals were only really good for zipping between Gran Soren and specific places.
