Last time that happened, it was a week long endeavor. Splatoon 2 just came out and I planned on beating the campaign with all 10 weapons so I spent upwards to 6-8 hours a day just pumping that out while also doing multiplayer stuff.
The effect of me playing 100 hours within its first week made me not even play the game anymore. Just a few days ago I went back and continued to play Persona again. Though now I only play persona for about 2-3 hours every other day.
