I work at a lot of these CS majors back stage, and there is always talk that they do in fact cheat.

Counter strike players are just shady fucks in general, so it isn't surprising.

Ever notice how CS GO "pros" are all fat losers while Quake pros are all in shape? Ever notice how CS GO pros don't even try to deny that their game is RNG cancer? The computers at the venue are connected to the internet so they can have their skins. There is a big security theater surrounding it but in reality the tournament organizers aren't nearly as thorough as they should be. E.g. at PGL Stewie was tweeting in the middle of a match during some technical pause, which means he had his fucking phone at the PC the entire time.
