IIRC the ragdoll was pretty basic but they had a good combination of both death animations and ragdolls, so enemies who are killed near ledges would fall over it and the ones near windows might fly through it. You could also take them as a human shield and fucking toss them out yourself. Great game, too bad it never had a sequel or spiritual successor. I'd love for another Punisher game these days. It needn't even go for an open world, just give it a shitton of great linear levels to go through.

I wish more games actually had the enemy stop fighting when they shout shit like, "I surrender! Don't kill me!"

Like, imagine a game like fallout, where if you spare some whimpering raider at some point, in a later mission he might show up working for a new gang and be all, "Oh shit man, you spared my life that one time, let me get the boss for you, maybe we can talk this out," or he shows up at your settlement saying he wants a new chance at life and asking if he could move in.

Stuff like that'd make the game feel so much more alive than it is now. It could even have consequences when other settlers might accuse him of some crime or another and it might be true; it might not. Do you go to the trouble of actually investigating, or just punish him straight-up? If you clear his name, the other settlers might still be resentful of you taking the raider's side over theirs, etc. Even if he's honest, his pals might move in and drive away your honest settlers, turning the settlement into a den of drugs and vice, or and outright new raider camp. You get where I'm coming from?
